I am still recovering from what was a busy but wonderful weekend. We spent Saturday running errands, carving pumpkins, tossing leaves in the air, and making homemade ramen broth (more on that later). On Sunday, we had a little Halloween shindig with some friends. Yes, we dressed up. It was awesome.
Another awesome part of this weekend: Riley's refusal to not wear his dragon costume. Adorable.
Now, I'm trying to rest up and get my life organized before I head to Minnesota. Why go to Minnesota, you ask? Well, to see my family, of course! But also to make my first television appearance! Yep. It's happening. Well, it's scheduled to happen. You know how important things happen in the world that sometimes trump food segments on the news? That could occur. But for now, here is the plan:
